Breeding

In our small scale breeding stable, we continue the breeding family 100. We called our branch the "Gold-branch" and add to all the products of our breeding the suffix -Gold. Our thought process was to adopt the name of the two generations that came before Nina-Gold, being: m Goldy and mm Mary-Gold I.

Essentially we only breed mares that have proven themselves to be exceptional showjumpers or are still actively involved in the sport, namely:

NINA-GOLD(Lux x Burggraaf x Uppercut xx)

elite preferent prestatie sport spr

former 1.50 int. showjumper with Ben Schröder

her daughter:

VICKY-GOLD(Andiamo x Lux x Burggraaf)

ster sport spr

former 1.60 int. showjumper with Gerco Schröder

her daughter:

DIDI-GOLD(Lord Z x Andiamo x Lux)

elite sport spr

At Hippisch Centrum Den Goubergh in Roosendaal the IBOP took place on 12th March 2013:

Didi-Gold (Lord Z from Vicky Gold stb sport-spr from Andiamo, breeder/owner H.E.P. de Man, Standdaarbuiten) comes from a sportsfamily and showed us that today. She got 84 points in total, with for instance 9 for reflexes and 8,5 for ability to ride and work with her, attitude, power and talent as a showjumper. “This is an athletic mare, with a very balanced gallop. She can easily switch and has very good reflexes. She jumps very well with her shoulder upwards and elevates quickly. She can also switch easily in the air and is very pleasant to ride with”, as commented on by Ine van Deurzen. Mother Vicky Gold is an international showjumper with Gerco Schröder and grandmother Nina-Gold (v.Lux) was also an 1.50m international showjumper with Ben Schröder.

EMBRYO TRANSPLANTATION

Because we do not want to take any risks concerning birthing and/or want to give preference to the mare's sporting career, we breed 90% via ET (embryo transplantation). An added benefit is that, if desired, we can breed more that one foal from our best mares per season.

BREEDING FAMILY 100 (m. Amalia)

The lineage of mares reaches back from Nina-Gold as follows:

  • Goldy (elite pref prest, v. Burggraaf),
  • Mary-Gold I (keur pref, v. Uppercut xx),
  • Rufrieda D (ster pref prest, v. Content),
  • Ufrieda (v. Imposant),
  • Frieda (ster pref, v. Ledazoon) and
  • Freline (ster pref v. Grootvorst), back to
  • Oclea and eventually back to
  • Amalia (old Groningerline) 1888.

Mary-Gold I produced amongst others the approved stallion Rappel, as well as the well-known Prix St. Georges dressage horse Donkervoort.
