About the Nina-Hoeve

The Nina-Hoeve is located in Noord-Brabant, in the southern part of the Netherlands. The owner, Henk de Man, has extended his hobby since 1993 into a comprehensive, performance based breeding stable of showjumpers. 

After years of careful selection, we have produced mares that, in our opinion, form the solid base of our breeding program. We believe this lineage of mares is extremely important.

We are mainly concerned with breeding and then raising the foals. After birth we raise them until the age of 3,5 years. After this period they'll be borded with an experienced showjumping rider, who will make them sadle-ready, start general training and will expose them to the sport of jumping.

Then the selection takes place. The mares are judged on their quality and potential to be used in our own breeding program.
